śivo'smītimanohlādo jalasnānaṃ paraṃ matam |
cinnirmalā tanmayaṃ hi jagadasmi tathāvidhaḥ
— 'I am Śiva'; — the gladness of mind (in) thus (thinking); — bathing in water; — is held (to be) the supreme; — consciousness is stainless; — made of that indeed; — the world; — I am; — of such a kind
The gladness of mind in (the thought) 'I am Śiva' is held to be the supreme bathing-in-water; consciousness is stainless, the world is made of it indeed, (and) I am of just such a kind.
