पश्यन्ती हि क्रिया तस्या भागौ पूर्वापरौ स्थितौ ।
न तद्द्रष्टव्यमित्येतद्विमर्शः पूर्वतो भवेत् ॥८३॥
paśyantī hi kriyā tasyā bhāgau pūrvāparau sthitau |
na taddraṣṭavyamityetadvimarśaḥ pūrvato bhavet
Indeed Paśyantī (rightly understood) is action; of it two phases, prior and posterior, are established; the reflective awareness 'this is to be seen' would be the prior (phase) (— this is our own correct account).
