चतुर्वर्गफलावाप्त्यै विनियोगः प्रकीर्तितः । अङ्गन्यासकरन्यासौ कथयामि शृणु प्रिये ॥४०॥
caturvargaphalāvāptyai viniyogaḥ prakīrtitaḥ | aṅganyāsakaranyāsau kathayāmi śṛṇu priye ||40||
— for attaining the fruit of the four aims ; — the application ; — is declared ; — the nyāsa of the limbs and the nyāsa of the hands ; — I tell ; — listen ; — O beloved

For attaining the fruit of the four aims, its application is declared. The nyāsa of the limbs and the nyāsa of the hands I now tell; listen, O beloved.
