2.19
मद्वक्त्रादुदितं धर्मं हित्वाऽन्यद्धर्ममीहते । अमृतं स्वगृहे त्यक्त्वा क्षीरमार्कं स वाञ्छति ॥१९॥
madvaktrāduditaṃ dharmaṃ hitvā'nyaddharmamīhate | amṛtaṃ svagṛhe tyaktvā kṣīramārkaṃ sa vāñchati ||19||
— from my mouth ; — that has issued ; — the dharma ; — having forsaken ; — another dharma ; — strives after ; — nectar ; — in his own house ; — having abandoned ; — milk ; — the (bitter) sap of the arka plant ; — he ; — craves

He who forsakes the dharma issued from my mouth and strives after another dharma is like one who, abandoning the nectar-like milk in his own house, craves the bitter sap of the arka plant.
