इति देववचः शृत्वा पार्वती हृष्टमानसा ।
विनयावनता साध्वी परिपप्रच्छ शङ्करम् ॥१७॥
iti devavacaḥ śṛtvā pārvatī hṛṣṭamānasā |
vinayāvanatā sādhvī paripapraccha śaṅkaram ||17||
— thus ; — the god's words ; — having heard ; — Pārvatī ; — with a delighted mind ; — bowed low in humility ; — the virtuous lady ; — questioned, inquired of ; — Śaṅkara Having heard the god's words thus, Pārvatī, with delighted mind, the virtuous lady, bowed low in humility, questioned Śaṅkara.
