कर्त्रंशश् च अहङ्कार एव तेन मुख्ये करणे द्वे पुंसः ज्ञाने विद्या क्रियायां कला अन्धस्य पङ्गोश् च अहन्तारूपज्ञानक्रियानपगमात् उद्रिक्ततन्मात्रभागविशिष्टात् तु सात्त्विकाद् एव अहङ्कारात् कर्मेन्द्रियपञ्चकम् अहं गच्छामि इति अहङ्कारविशिष्टः कार्यकरणक्षमः पादेन्द्रियं तस्य मुख्याधिष्ठानं बाह्यम् अन्यत्रापि तद् अस्त्य् एव इति रुग्णस्यापि न गतिविच्छेदः

kartraṃśaś ca ahaṅkāra eva tena mukhye karaṇe dve puṃsaḥ jñāne vidyā kriyāyāṃ kalā andhasya paṅgoś ca ahantārūpajñānakriyānapagamāt udriktatanmātrabhāgaviśiṣṭāt tu sāttvikād eva ahaṅkārāt karmendriyapañcakam ahaṃ gacchāmi iti ahaṅkāraviśiṣṭaḥ kāryakaraṇakṣamaḥ pādendriyaṃ tasya mukhyādhiṣṭhānaṃ bāhyam anyatrāpi tad asty eva iti rugṇasyāpi na gativicchedaḥ
And the agent-aspect is just the I-maker. Therefore the soul has two principal instruments: Knowledge (vidyā) for cognition and kalā for action — since for the blind and the lame, cognition and action in the form of "I"-ness do not lapse. But from the sāttvika I-maker, distinguished by a predominance of the subtle-element portion, arise the five faculties of action: "I go" — thus the foot-faculty, qualified by the I-maker and capable of effecting its action, has the external locus as its principal seat, yet that (faculty) exists elsewhere too; hence even for one who is crippled there is no total cessation of motion.
