ततः सङ्क्रान्तिपञ्चके वृत्ते पादोनासु चतुर्दशसु घटिकासु अतिक्रान्तासु दक्षिणं शारदं विषुवन्मध्याह्ने नव प्राणशतानि

Transliteration (IAST)

tataḥ saṅkrāntipañcake vṛtte pādonāsu caturdaśasu ghaṭikāsu atikrāntāsu dakṣiṇaṃ śāradaṃ viṣuvanmadhyāhne nava prāṇaśatāni

— when the set of five passages ; — has occurred (is complete) ; — when fourteen ghaṭikās less a quarter ; — have elapsed ; — the southern, autumnal (course) ; — at the equinoctial midday ; — nine hundred breaths

Then, when the set of five passages is complete and fourteen ghaṭikās less a quarter have elapsed, there is the southern, autumnal course; at the equinoctial midday, nine hundred breaths.
