— to the disciple who has received initiation ; — the principal mantra, endowed with potency ; — whose essence is the pulsation of consciousness ; — unwritten ; — he should impart only by oral transmission (mouth to ear) ; — for the sake of accomplishing identity with That ; — the practice of identity-with-That at the junctures (of the day) ; — for attaining such a (purifying) sacrament at all times ; — he should worship (the Lord) upon the altar-ground or the liṅga

There, to the disciple who has received initiation, he should impart the principal mantra, endowed with potency, whose essence is the pulsation of consciousness — unwritten, by oral transmission alone. Then, in order to accomplish identity with That, that disciple should practice identity-with-That at the junctures of the day; and by that means, in order to attain such a sacrament at all times, he should daily worship the Supreme Lord upon the altar-ground or upon the liṅga.
