13.76

इत्य् एवापादिताष्टाचत्वारिंशत्संस्कारोपरिकृतरुद्रांशापत्तिः समयीभवति

Transliteration (IAST)

ity evāpāditāṣṭācatvāriṃśatsaṃskāroparikṛtarudrāṃśāpattiḥ samayībhavati

— having had the forty-eight sacraments effected (upon him) ; — the attainment, set above, of the status of a portion of Rudra ; — becomes a samayin (a bound initiate)

Thus, having had the forty-eight sacraments effected upon him and attained thereby the status of a portion of Rudra, set above (the rest), he becomes a samayin (a bound initiate).
