13.20

तत्र मध्ये भगवान् ऊर्ध्वे ऽस्य ऐशानं वक्त्रम् अधः पातालवक्त्रम् पूर्वादिदिक्चतुष्के श्रीतत्पुरुषाघोरसद्योवामाख्यं दिक्चतुष्कमध्ये अन्याश् चतस्रः

Transliteration (IAST)

tatra madhye bhagavān ūrdhve 'sya aiśānaṃ vaktram adhaḥ pātālavaktram pūrvādidikcatuṣke śrītatpuruṣāghorasadyovāmākhyaṃ dikcatuṣkamadhye anyāś catasraḥ

— in the centre, the Lord ; — the Īśāna face ; — the netherworld face ; — in the four directions beginning with east ; — named the venerable Tatpuruṣa, Aghora, Sadyojāta, and Vāmadeva ; — in the midst of the four directions (the intermediate points) ; — the other four (faces)

There, in the centre, is the Lord; above is His Īśāna face, below the netherworld face; in the four directions beginning with the east are the faces named the venerable Tatpuruṣa, Aghora, Sadyojāta, and Vāmadeva; and in the intermediate points are the other four.
