11.6

Transliteration (IAST)

na ca vācyaṃ kasmāt kasmiṃścid eva puṃsi śaktipāta iti sa eva parameśvaraḥ tathā bhāti iti satattve ko 'sau pumān nāma yaduddeśena viṣayakṛtā codanā iyam

— nor should it be objected ; — why ; — in just some particular person ; — appears in that way ; — in reality (in true nature) ; — who is that "person" ; — with reference to whom ; — this objection framed in terms of an object

Nor should it be objected: why is there śaktipāta in just some particular person? For it is the Supreme Lord Himself who appears in that way; and in reality, who is that "person" with reference to whom this objection, framed in terms of an object, is raised?
