उपलादेर्जडत्वेऽपि शिवत्वं ते कथं स्थितम् ॥९१॥

upalāderjaḍatve'pi śivatvaṃ te kathaṃ sthitam

— of a stone and the like ; — even in its insentience ; — Śiva-hood ; — for you ; — how ; — is established

(Objection:) Given the insentience even of a stone and the like, how can its being Śiva be established for you?
