सहजं कर्म कौन्तेय सदोषमपि न त्यजेत् ।
सर्वारम्भा हि दोषेण धूमेनाऽग्निरिवावृताः ॥
१८-४८ ॥
sahajaṃ karma kaunteya sadoṣamapi na tyajet |
sarvārambhā hi doṣeṇa dhūmenā'gnirivāvṛtāḥ ||
18-48 ||
One should not forsake the inborn duty, O son of Kuntī, even though it has fault; for all undertakings are enveloped by fault, as fire by smoke.
