तेजः क्षमा धृतिस्तुष्टिरद्रोहो नातिमानिता । भवन्ति सम्पदं दैवीमभिजातस्य भारत ॥ १६-३ ॥
tejaḥ kṣamā dhṛtistuṣṭiradroho nātimānitā | bhavanti sampadaṃ daivīmabhijātasya bhārata || 16-3 ||
— vigor, forbearance, fortitude, contentment ; — absence of malice, and freedom from excessive pride ; — belong to the divine endowment ; — of one born to it, O Bhārata

Vigor, forbearance, fortitude, contentment, absence of malice, freedom from excessive pride — these belong to one born to the divine endowment, O Bhārata.
