कनिष्ठयोः करतलपृष्ठयोः सुरवन्दिते । नमः स्वाहा वषट् हू| वौषट् फडन्तैर्यथाक्रमम् ॥४२॥
kaniṣṭhayoḥ karatalapṛṣṭhayoḥ suravandite | namaḥ svāhā vaṣaṭ hū| vauṣaṭ phaḍantairyathākramam ||42||
— on the two little fingers ; — on the palm and back of the hands ; — O you adored by the gods ; — 'namaḥ' ; — 'svāhā' ; — 'vaṣaṭ' ; — 'hūṃ' ; — 'vauṣaṭ' ; — ending in 'phaṭ' ; — in due order

and on the two little fingers and on the palm and back of the hands, O you adored by the gods, (sealing each) with namaḥ, svāhā, vaṣaṭ, hūṃ, vauṣaṭ, and phaṭ in due order.
