अधिकारिविभेदेन पशुबाहुल्यतः प्रिये । कुलाचारोदितं धर्मं गुप्त्यर्थं कथितं क्वचित् ॥२२॥
adhikārivibhedena paśubāhulyataḥ priye | kulācāroditaṃ dharmaṃ guptyarthaṃ kathitaṃ kvacit ||22||
— according to the distinction of qualified persons ; — because of the abundance of paśus ; — O beloved ; — declared as the Kula observance ; — the dharma ; — for the sake of secrecy ; — told ; — in some places, here and there

According to the distinction of those qualified, and because of the abundance of paśus, O beloved, the Kula dharma was set forth only here and there, for the sake of secrecy.
