1.61

अतिपानादिदोषेण रोगिणो बहवः क्षितौ । शक्तिहीना बुद्धिहीना भूत्वा च विकलेन्द्रियाः ॥६१॥

atipānādidoṣeṇa rogiṇo bahavaḥ kṣitau | śaktihīnā buddhihīnā bhūtvā ca vikalendriyāḥ ||61||

— through the fault of excessive drinking and the like ; — diseased ; — many ; — on earth ; — devoid of strength ; — devoid of intelligence ; — having become ; — and ; — with senses impaired

Through the fault of excessive drinking and the like, many on earth will become diseased, bereft of strength and of intelligence, their senses impaired,
