tataḥ śuddhavidyāntam āsanaṃ dattvā gaṇapateḥ pūjā tataḥ kumbham ānandadravyapūritam alaṅkṛtaṃ pūjayet tato yājyam anu pūgaṃ nyasya tatra mukhyaṃ mantraṃ sarvādhiṣṭhātṛtayā vidhipūrvakatvena smaran aṣṭottaraśatamantritaṃ tena taṃ kumbhaṃ kuryāt

— a seat (the throne-mantra) ending at Pure Knowledge ; — the worship of Gaṇapati ; — the pot filled with the substance of bliss ; — adorned ; — the cluster of deities-to-be-worshipped ; — as the governor of all ; — mantra-charged a hundred-and-eight times

Then, having given a seat (the throne-mantra) ending at Pure Knowledge, (comes) the worship of Gaṇapati. Then he should worship the pot, filled with the substance of bliss and adorned. Then, having deposited within it the cluster of deities-to-be-worshipped, and calling to mind the principal mantra there as the governor of all, in due ritual order, he should make that pot (charged) with the mantra recited a hundred-and-eight times.
