अथैकस्याधिका शक्तिर्न्यूनशक्तिनिबन्धिनी ॥२॥
athaikasyādhikā śaktirnyūnaśaktinibandhinī
— now (if) ; — of one ; — greater ; — power ; — conditioning (another's) lesser power

(Objection:) Now, the greater power of one (thing) conditions the lesser power (of another) — (so powers vary and are not all simply Śiva).
