3.147
स्वमन्त्रदाने यो दोषस्तथा पित्रादिदीक्षया । सिद्धे ब्रह्ममहामन्त्रे तद्दोषो नैव विद्यते ॥१४७॥
svamantradāne yo doṣastathā pitrādidīkṣayā | siddhe brahmamahāmantre taddoṣo naiva vidyate ||147||
— in giving one's own mantra ; — which ; — fault ; — and likewise ; — by consecration from a father, etc. ; — when it is a perfected (mantra) ; — the great Brahman-mantra ; — that fault ; — not at all ; — exists

The fault that lies in giving one's own mantra, and likewise in consecration by a father and the rest—when the great Brahman-mantra, a perfected mantra, is concerned, that fault does not exist at all.
