पिताऽपि दीक्षयेत् पुत्रान् भ्राता भ्रातॄन् पतिः स्त्रियम् । मातुलो भागिनेयांश्च नप्तॄन् मातामहोऽपि च ॥१४६॥
pitā'pi dīkṣayet putrān bhrātā bhrātṝn patiḥ striyam | mātulo bhāgineyāṃśca naptṝn mātāmaho'pi ca ||146||
— even a father ; — may consecrate ; — his sons ; — a brother ; — his brothers ; — a husband ; — his wife ; — a maternal uncle ; — and his nephews ; — grandsons ; — even a maternal grandfather ; — and

Even a father may consecrate his sons, a brother his brothers, a husband his wife, a maternal uncle his nephews, and even a maternal grandfather his grandsons.
