1.59

इन्द्रियाणां सुखार्थाय पीत्वा च बहुलं मधु । भविष्यन्ति मदोन्मत्ता हिताहितविवर्जिताः ॥५९॥

indriyāṇāṃ sukhārthāya pītvā ca bahulaṃ madhu | bhaviṣyanti madonmattā hitāhitavivarjitāḥ ||59||

— of the senses ; — for the sake of pleasure ; — having drunk ; — and ; — abundantly ; — wine, intoxicant ; — will become ; — maddened with intoxication ; — heedless of good and ill

For the pleasure of their senses they will drink wine in abundance and become maddened with intoxication, heedless of good and ill.
