13.63

ततश् चरुं प्रोक्षितम् आनीय स्थण्डिलकलशकुम्भवह्निषु भागं भागं निवेद्य एकभागम् अवशेष्य शिष्याय भागं दद्यात्

Transliteration (IAST)

tataś caruṃ prokṣitam ānīya sthaṇḍilakalaśakumbhavahniṣu bhāgaṃ bhāgaṃ nivedya ekabhāgam avaśeṣya śiṣyāya bhāgaṃ dadyāt

— the sprinkled oblation-porridge (caru) ; — to the altar-mound, the jar, the pot, and the fire ; — having offered a portion to each ; — having left over one portion ; — should give a portion to the disciple

Then, having brought the sprinkled oblation-porridge and offered a portion to each — the altar-mound, the jar, the pot, and the fire — and having left over one portion, he should give a portion to the disciple.
