Transliteration (IAST)

atha malaparipāke śaktipātaḥ so 'pi kiṃsvarūpaḥ kiṃ ca tasya nimittam iti etena vairāgyaṃ dharmaviśeṣo vivekaḥ satsevā satprāptiḥ devapūjā ityādihetuḥ pratyukta iti bhedavādināṃ sarvam asamañjasam

— upon the ripening of impurity (mala) ; — of what nature ; — its cause ; — dispassion ; — a particular merit ; — discrimination ; — service of the good ; — worship of the deity ; — (the doctrine that) such-and-such are its causes ; — has been refuted (answered) ; — of the dualists (the proponents of difference) ; — incoherent, untenable

Now (if it be said) that śaktipāta occurs upon the ripening of impurity — of what nature is that, and what is its cause? By this very (line of argument), the doctrine that its causes are dispassion, a particular merit, discrimination, service of the good, attainment of the good, worship of the deity, and so forth, has been refuted. Thus for the dualists everything is incoherent.
