श्रीदेव्य् उवाच । अनुत्तरं कथं देव स्वतः कौलिकसिद्धिदम् । येन विज्ञातमात्रेण खेचरीसमतां व्रजेत् ॥१॥
śrīdevy uvāca | anuttaraṃ kathaṃ deva svataḥ kaulikasiddhidam | yena vijñātamātreṇa khecarīsamatāṃ vrajet
— the venerable Goddess ; — said, spoke ; — anuttara (the Unsurpassable, that beyond which there is nothing) ; — how, in what way ; — O God (Bhairava) ; — of itself, spontaneously, innately ; — bestowing the kaulika attainment (the power proper to the Kula) ; — by which ; — by the mere knowing, by simply being understood ; — equality with the Khecarī (the sky-faring power/state of consciousness) ; — one would attain, would go to

The venerable Goddess said: How, O God, is the Unsurpassable (anuttara), which of itself bestows the kaulika attainment, and by the mere knowing of which one would attain equality with the Khecarī?
