यतो विश्वं समुद्भूतं येन जातञ्च तिष्ठति । यस्मिन् सर्वाणि लीयन्ते ज्ञेयं तद्ब्रह्म लक्षणैः ॥९॥
yato viśvaṃ samudbhūtaṃ yena jātañca tiṣṭhati | yasmin sarvāṇi līyante jñeyaṃ tadbrahma lakṣaṇaiḥ ||9||
— from which ; — the universe ; — has arisen ; — by which ; — and having arisen ; — abides ; — in which ; — all things ; — dissolve ; — to be known ; — that Brahman ; — by (these) marks

That from which the universe has arisen, by which, having arisen, it abides, and in which all things dissolve—that Brahman is to be known by these marks.
