1.38

बहुलानां पुराणानां विनाशो भविता विभो । तदा लोका भविष्यन्ति धर्मकर्मवहिर्मुखाः ॥३८॥

bahulānāṃ purāṇānāṃ vināśo bhavitā vibho | tadā lokā bhaviṣyanti dharmakarmavahirmukhāḥ ||38||

— of the many ; — of the Purāṇas ; — destruction ; — will be ; — O all-pervading lord ; — then ; — people ; — will become ; — turned away from dharma and ritual act

Of the many Purāṇas there will be destruction, O all-pervading lord; and then people will become averse to dharma and to ritual action.
