त्रिपञ्चारे पीठे शवशिवहृदि स्मेरवदनां
महाकालेनोच्चैर्मदनरसलावण्यनिरताम् ।
समासक्तो नक्तं स्वयमपि रतानन्दनिरतो
जनो यो ध्यायेत्त्वामयि जननि स स्यात् स्मरहरः ॥१८॥
tri-pañcāre pīṭhe śava-śiva-hṛdi smera-vadanāṃ |
mahākālenoccair madana-rasa-lāvaṇya-niratām |
samāsakto naktaṃ svayam api ratānanda-nirato |
jano yo dhyāyet tvām ayi janani sa syāt smara-haraḥ ||18||

He who, himself absorbed at night in the bliss of love, meditates on Thee — smiling-faced, upon the fifteen-spoked seat, upon the breast of Śiva-as-corpse, given over to the savour and grace of love with Mahākāla — that man, O Mother, becomes the Slayer of Smara himself.
