प्रसूते संसारं जननि भवती पालयति च
समस्तं क्षित्यादि प्रलयसमये संहरति च ।
अतस्त्वं धात्रीसि त्रिभुवनपतिः श्रीपतिरपि
महेशोऽपि प्रायः सकलमपि किं स्तौमि भवतीम् ॥१२॥
prasūte saṃsāraṃ janani bhavatī pālayati ca |
samastaṃ kṣity-ādi pralaya-samaye saṃharati ca |
atas tvaṃ dhātrī si tribhuvana-patiḥ śrī-patir api |
maheśo 'pi prāyaḥ sakalam api kiṃ staumi bhavatīm ||12||

O Mother, Thou bringest forth the round of existence, Thou dost maintain it whole — earth and all — and at the hour of dissolution Thou dost withdraw it. Thus Thou art Creatrix, Lord of the three worlds, Consort of Śrī, and the Great Lord as well — Thou art all. How then shall I praise Thee?
