1.37

पिण्डमन्त्रस्य सर्वस्य स्थूलवर्णक्रमेण तु । अर्धेन्दुबिन्दुनादान्तः शून्योच्चाराद्भवेच्छिवः ॥३७॥

piṇḍamantrasya sarvasya sthūlavarṇakrameṇa tu | ardhendubindunādāntaḥ śūnyoccārād bhavec chivaḥ

anuṣṭubh

— of a seed-mantra ; — of every (mantra) ; — but by the gross sequence of phonemes ; — the (silent) end of half-moon, bindu, and nāda ; — by voiding the utterance ; — one becomes Śiva

Of any embodied mantra whatever, traversed through its gross phonemes in sequence, ending in the half-moon, bindu, and nāda — by the void-uttering at the end, one becomes Śiva.
