अद्यापि न निवृत्तो मे संशयः परमेश्वर ।
किं रूपं तत्त्वतो देव शब्दराशिकलामयम् ॥२॥

Yet even now, O Supreme Lord, my doubt is not dispelled: what truly is the nature, O God, of that which is constituted of the totality of phonemes and the kalās?
