तत ऐशान्यां दिशि कुम्भं स्थापयेत्

Transliteration (IAST)

tata aiśānyāṃ diśi kumbhaṃ sthāpayet

— in the north-eastern (Īśāna) quarter ; — should set down the pot

Then he should set down the pot in the north-eastern quarter.
