13.52

ततः शिष्यं गृहपर्यन्तेषु विघ्नशमनाय धारां पातयन्तं सकुम्भो ऽनुगच्छेत् इमं मन्त्रं पठन् भो भोः शक्र त्वया स्वस्यां दिशि विघ्नप्रशान्तये

Transliteration (IAST)

tataḥ śiṣyaṃ gṛhaparyanteṣu vighnaśamanāya dhārāṃ pātayantaṃ sakumbho 'nugacchet imaṃ mantraṃ paṭhan bho bhoḥ śakra tvayā svasyāṃ diśi vighnapraśāntaye

— around the borders of the house ; — (the disciple) pouring out a stream (of water) ; — (the guru) with the pot should follow ; — reciting this mantra ; — O O Śakra (Indra) ; — in your own quarter ; — for the quelling of obstacles

Then, as the disciple pours out a stream (of water) around the borders of the house for the quelling of obstacles, (the guru) should follow with the pot, reciting this mantra: "O O Śakra, by you, in your own quarter, for the quelling of obstacles —
