गङ्गातोये शिलादौ च स्पृष्टदोषोऽपि वर्तते ।
परब्रह्मार्पिते द्रव्ये स्पृष्टास्पृष्टं न विद्यते ॥८०॥
gaṅgātoye śilādau ca spṛṣṭadoṣo'pi vartate |
parabrahmārpite dravye spṛṣṭāspṛṣṭaṃ na vidyate ||80||
— in the water of the Gaṅgā; — in stone and the like (Śālagrāma); — and; — the fault of being touched (defiled); — even; — may obtain; — when offered to the supreme Brahman; — in a substance; — the (distinction of) touched and untouched; — not; — exists, holds
In the water of the Gaṅgā, in a sacred stone, and the like, the fault of being touched may yet obtain; but in a substance offered to the supreme Brahman, the distinction of touched and untouched does not hold.
