Transliteration (IAST)

tatra hṛdayāt dvādaśāntāntaṃ svāṅgulaiḥ sarvasya ṣaṭtriṃśadaṅgulaḥ prāṇacāraḥ nirgame praveśe ca svocitabalayatnadehatvāt sarvasya

— from the heart ; — up to the dvādaśānta (the point twelve fingers out) ; — by one's own finger-breadths ; — measuring thirty-six finger-breadths ; — the course of the breath ; — in exhalation (going out) ; — in inhalation (entering) ; — because each has a body of force and effort suited to itself

Therein, from the heart up to the dvādaśānta, measured by one's own finger-breadths, the course of the breath is thirty-six finger-breadths in everyone, both in exhalation and in inhalation, since each being has a measure of force and effort suited to its own body.
