2.2 प्रयत्नः साधकः ॥२॥ prayatnaḥ sādhakaḥ sūtra prayatnaḥ — spontaneous, intense effort (toward the Self) ; sādhakaḥ — the effective one, that which accomplishes (the goal) Spontaneous effort (toward Reality) is the (true) means of attainment.
